Summer cottage sit — two golden retrievers
About this sit
We're heading to Tuscany for two weeks and need a loving, reliable sitter for Biscuit (4) and Maple (2). They're beautifully trained, adore humans, and just want walks, play, and cuddles. The cottage is completely yours — enjoy the garden, the village, the countryside walks.
Meet the pets
Biscuit · Dog, Golden Retriever · 4yr
Calm and gentle. Loves morning walks and fetch in the garden. Sleeps through the night. Needs 2 walks per day (30 min each).
Maple · Dog, Golden Retriever · 2yr
Playful and affectionate. Still learning recall but excellent on lead. Loves to cuddle on the sofa in evenings.
Responsibilities
- 2 walks per day (morning + evening, 30 min each)
- Feed twice daily (food and schedule in welcome pack)
- Water garden every other day
- Collect post and put bins out Thursday evening
- Send us a photo or two each day — we love it!
House rules
No smoking anywhere on the property. Please remove shoes at the door. Dogs sleep in their beds in the kitchen (they'll try the sofa — it's up to you!). No parties.
Garden care
Water the vegetable patch and rose beds every 2 days. The greenhouse tomatoes need daily water. No mowing needed for 2 weeks.

Full welcome pack with everything you need: vet contact, emergency numbers, village guide, WiFi password, and appliance instructions.
